General Consultation, Advisory, and Mentorship

Many times clients have a firm grasp on their goals but need advice on the best approach. I have many years of experience across many industries with organizations of all sizes so I will quickly formulate an approach for you to reach your goals incrementally according to resource availability.
In some situations I have found organizations that have resources skilled in recovery planning but they have minimal experience with the soft side of resiliency planning. Mentoring these individuals on techniques to gain buy-in from senior management.
I have even mentored graduate students on risk management and resilience as they developed their thesis. Academia tends to lack real world experience so students reach out to gain insight on particular topics and career advice.
For initial consultations I will refund the change if we mutually determine that I am unable to help. This has never happened to me but I offer it as a low risk approach to my advisory services.
The Process
- You submit a request for General Consultation, Advisory, and Mentorship.
- I will send you an hourly contract proposal for 1 hour. If you accept the proposed contract, select an open hour on my calendar. If you prefer, I will sign a Non-Disclosure agreement at this time.
- I will send you a brief questionnaire for you to complete prior to the session so I can familiarize myself with your situation and provide the most value to you.
- We will meet to discuss your request and I will provide you with an hour of General Consultation, Advisory, or Mentorship - maybe all 3.
- After the session, you will approve the contract, I will be paid for the 1 hour, and the contract will be closed. However, if you decide to continue the consultations we will discuss the terms and I will revise the contract. I will refund any unused hours if you terminate the contract.
- At the end of each consulting session I will provide you with all the notes I may haven taken during the session.
