This option is popular with clients that find themselves in any of the following situations:
Recovery plans have been developed but they are not current and the plan review process has lost steam. You need a tune-up.
IT is maintaining Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for systems they feel are critical but the real business recovery requirement is unknown because a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) has never been performed and there are no Business Continuity (BC) plans. You need to perform a BIA and develop the BC plans.
The Process
You submit a request for the Recovery Plan Refresh.
You select on open time on my calendar for a brief 30 minute discovery session to determine if this service is right for you.
If you decide to move forward I will send you a contract proposal with a detailed Statement of Work (Statement of Work) and timeline via email. Depending on the work required I may break the contract proposal into milestones. If you prefer, I will sign a Non-Disclosure agreement at this time.
Once you accept the proposed contract I will begin according to the Statement of Work (Statement of Work). Depending on the duration of the engagement we will sync-up weekly to review progress.
If the Statement of Work has been divided into milestones, you approve each milestone , I get paid, and the contract remains open to begin the next milestone.
When the final milestone is completed, you approve the work completed according to the Statement of Work, you approve the contract, the contract is closed, and I get paid for the final milestone.
